Scuba Review

PADI's Scuba Review program is designed to get you back in the water - comfortably! You will benefit from a Scuba Review experience if you're:

  • A certified diver and have been out of the water for awhile
  • looking to refresh your dive skills and knowledge
  • A PADI Scuba Diver or a referral student diver and want to earn your Open Water Diver certification
  • An experienced diver seeking certification

The Scuba Review program consists of two parts - a Knowledge Review and a Confined Water Skills Review. The Knowledge Review segment covers basic safety information you learned during your entry-level training. The only material you need is the Scuba Tune-Up Guidebook.

The Confined Water Skills Review will give you the opportunity to practice basic scuba skills. With guidance from a PADI Instructor, you will update and fine-tune your diving skills. There is also a supervised open water dive. This recommended dive offers the opportunity to obtain an environmental orientation to a local site as well as the comfort of supervised diving. Anyone age 12 or older may participate in the Scuba Review program. You must have a scuba certification or be enrolled in a scuba training program to complete this experience.

Visit IDC Scuba and find out more about Scuba Review and other PADI programs.

MUST BOOK AT LEAST A WEEK IN ADVANCED.

PADI Seal Team

The PADI Seal Team is for young divers who are looking for an action-packed, adventurous program filled with exciting scuba "AquaMissions. "Have you ever wondered what it's like to dive with flashlights, take pictures underwater or float effortlessly like an Astronaut? If you have, then this is your chance to explore these exciting adventures in a swimming pool.

As a PADI Seal, you learn the basics of safe diving and explore different AquaMissions - or specialty dives - like wreck, navigation, buoyancy, underwater photography, environmental awareness and more. When you get right down to it - the PADI Seal Team program is just plain cool! Designed for young divers (kids eight and older), this exciting new program is built around action-packed AquaMissions!

What's an AquaMission? It's an underwater pool adventure where kids learn scuba activities. Take AquaMission: Inner Space Specialist for example, here kids learn how to float underwater like an Astronaut. And AquaMission: Snapshot Specialist, this is where PADI Seal Team members take pictures of each other scuba diving.

Supported by a video, manual and logbook, the PADI Seal Team program is broken into two parts. Part one, AquaMissions 1 - 5, teaches kids the basics of diving - things like buoyancy control, mask clearing, regulator recovery, etc. After building a solid foundation of scuba skills, kids move on to part two.

Part two is full of Specialty AquaMissions. These cool dives teach kids different scuba activities. Here's a list of the Specialty AquaMissions:

  • Creature ID Specialist
  • Environmental Specialist
  • Inner Space Specialist
  • Navigation Specialist
  • Night Specialist
  • Safety Specialist
  • Search & Recover Specialist
  • Skin Diver Specialist
  • Snapshot Specialist
  • Wreck Specialist

As you can see, PADI Seals get to sample a wide variety of dives. And the best part of the Specialty AquaMissions, they reinforce save diving skills while the kids are having fun. Get involved today - pool diving has never been this adventurous!

Here's your chance to explore cool AquaMissions, meet friends and share in the adventure of the underwater world. And best of all - join a winning team - become a PADI Seal Team Member!
