TDI Cavern Diver Course

As the first in a series of overhead courses, the TDI Cavern Course takes a serious look at the skills needed to
conduct safe and enjoyable cavern dives. Although the cavern course is conducted in the light zone you will still
be in an overhead environment. Your TDI Cavern Instructor we cover
topics and skills such as:
 
  • Equipment configuration and preparation
  • Body posture and trim
  • Propulsion techniques
  • Cavern conservation
  • Proper guideline procedures

The TDI Cavern and Cave manual will outline the procedures for conducting cavern dives and a great addition to
your diving library.

PRE-REQUISITES:
Have a minimum entry level of Advanced Open Water or Equivalent
Be 18 years Old
Minimum of 25 logged dives
Have a current medical certificate

SCHEDULE:
Day #1- 9:00am to 5:00pm (Theory, Dive 1 & 2)
Day #2- 9:00am to 5:00pm (Theory, Dive 3 & 4)

COST: $499.00       

Includes: Instruction, TDI Overhead Environment Manual, Certification, Certificate, Use of twin tanks & stage
bottle if you do not own your own.

All other equipment must be provided by student or can be hired at extra cost.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to current CDAA Standards this course can not be run in Mt Gambier as a stand alone course.
It can be run in conjunction with the CDAA Cave Course as long as Objectives and standards for both courses are met.
In this case you will get the CDAA Cave Course certification and the TDI Intro to Cave certification. Cost of this is the
cost of the CDAA Cave Course plus $120.00 for the TDI Intro to Cave certification.
