HMAS Canberra

The Canberra is an exciting wreck to dive on. Plenty of penetration and very easy to navigate as it was purpose designed for divers before scuttling.
26M Submarine - J-4

Depth: 22-26m
Level: Advanced Open Water

Conditions: Subject to Swell
Location:  Bass Strait                              BOOK A DIVE

One of 4 J-Class submarines scuttled outside the Heads in the mid 1920's. Is still upright with the torpedo room broken off. easy to penetrate.
  
37M Submarine - J-1

This one is also called the New Deep Sub. It is the most intact of them all and penetration should be done by expoerienced divers.

The J-5 is also know as the Intact Sub. It's conning tower is covered in yellow zoanthids. Bulk heads are still intact so penetration more difficult.

Known as the Broken Sub. It sits on its side in 3 pieces. Very silt inside and very dangerous to penetrate. lots of scattered wreckage to be seen.
  
Coogee Wreck

This was one of the original bay steamers. Lots of marine life on it with the most prominent features been the stern and bow sections and the boilers. 
  
Courier Wreck

Located at the start of the shipping channel this wreck is another of the old bay steamers. Bow, stern and boilers are still left to explore.
  
Rotamahana Wreck

Depth: 36-39m
Level: Deep Diver
Vis: 5-20m
Conditions: Subject to Swell
Location:  Bass Strait                              BOOK A DIVE

The main parts of this wreck are the remains of the stern and bow sections. The 4 huge boilers in the middle are a spectacular site. Lots of fish.
  
Hurricane Wreck

Depth: 12m
Level: Open Water
Vis: 5-15m
Conditions: Subject to Tide
Location:  Port Phillip Bay                       BOOK A DIVE

Not much left of this wreck. Wreckage scattered but lots of marine life to be found especially nudibranchs. You can also pick up the odd scallop here.
  
Eliza Ramsden Wreck

Vis: 5-20m
Conditions: Subject to Tide
Location:  Port Phillip Bay                        BOOK A DIVE

This wreck is a popular dive site with heaps of fish life on it. It is a good wreck for the novice diver with the bow it the main feature to explore.
