Welcome to IDC SCUBA

‘NO 1 TRAINING FACILITY IN VICTORIA’
IDC Scuba is a 5 Star PADI Instructor Development Centre located in the spectacular suburb of Portsea on the Mornington Peninsula and is a 90 min drive south of Melbourne. We are also a Technical Training Facility running PADI TEC, TDI, IANTD and CDAA course to all levels including Nitrox, Trimix and Rebreather training.
 
The marine wilderness of Portsea Pier and the nearby Port Phillip Heads offers world class
diving and snorkelling for the novice to the experienced diver. Our charter boat departs from Portsea Pier taking you to all the dives inside and outside the Heads. From World War 1 submarines to early 19th century ship wrecks; the recently scuttled HMAS Canberra, magnificent drop-offs; reefs abundant with fish life; scallops; crayfish plus much more. Melbourne has over 80 dive sites to choose from and IDC Scuba, with their extensive knowledge of these dive locations, can guide you to all of them.

We are very proud of our training facility and its professional instructors and assistants that run the courses. Their priority is your safety and comfort during your time at IDC Scuba and they take this very seriously indeed. Our Philosophy is simple, if you are comfortable and happy, you will enjoy scuba diving, be relaxed and trust the facility you are diving with and more importantly, continue diving and building on your initial experience. We work hard to assist you on your diving journey and ensure that we are there to support you with whatever direction scuba diving may take you.  Diving truly is an exciting sport and as your diving buddy IDC Scuba can help you go places and experience new adventures in a way that no other facility can.
